The Lincoln PTA takes great pride in the fact that we are not repeatedly requesting financial support from our members throughout the school year. The Activity Fee that you pay when you join the PTA, along with our carefully selected fund raisers provides the bulk of the funds that we need to support all of the assemblies, programs and fun extras that we sponsor for our children. Because we only raise funds through these few activities, their success is crucially important for the success of our PTA. Below is a listing with a brief synopsis of each of the fund raisers that we sponsor each school year. For a full description of each Committee, please link to them from the drop down menu at the top of this page. Halloween CarnivalThe Lincoln PTA’s largest event, held in late October, for Lincoln families. Tickets and wristbands are sold for games, activities, food and raffle prizes. Book Fair A 2 or 3-day event, usually held the week of Thanksgiving, where Lincoln families can purchase books. Children and their teachers preview books in advance and create wish lists. Parents can buy books during Parent/Teacher conference time. Lincoln Spirit Wear The PTA sells clothing, jewelry, hair products, etc. that have the Lincoln school name and logo on them. This committee selects vendors and merchandise, and is responsible for
all aspects of the purchase through delivery of Spirit Wear items. Market Day The Bryan Band and Orchestra Boosters Club organizes Market Day for Lincoln School. A portion of the proceeds from Lincoln School orders comes back to our PTA.
