What is it?

REACH PTA is a parent group dedicated to supporting gifted programs in District 205 and enhancing gifted education for District 205 students.  Their board consists of one or two representatives from each elementary and middle school.  They are a sub-group of the District 205 PTA Council.

REACH is the District 205 Gifted and Talented program.  REACH reflects District 205's commitment to having appropriately high expectations for all students and providing them with rich, engaging educational opportunities that make them “reach” beyond their comfort zone in order to learn and develop their potentialities.

When is it?

A Lincoln PTA member or members serve as a representative on the REACH PTA Committee and attends their monthly meetings. They are then responsible for providing updates to the Lincoln PTA.

Volunteers needed?

A representative or co-reps to attend the monthly District meetings.

How much time does it take?

Several hours per month, to attend the District REACH and Lincoln PTA meetings.
